Dear Community Foundation of Broward Supporters,
As the Community Foundation embarks on our 41st year, the time has come to find a new building to meet the growing needs of our work championing local philanthropy and deepening our impact across Broward County.
The lease for our current home of two decades sunsets in less than two years. We love our spot on Las Olas Boulevard, yet we have outgrown its limited space. Now is the time to acquire or build a building of our own, with room to accommodate our growing team, expand nonprofit training and welcome our community partners to convene, collaborate and be inspired.
So, we are reaching out to you, our fundholders and supporters, for suggestions on available locations as well as possible donations or discounts on buildings or land you own that could be a good fit for the Community Foundation.
We are looking for 15,000 to 20,000 square feet of office space, with parking for 50 to 100 cars.
We welcome the chance to talk with you and your professional advisor about the tax advantages of donating or discounting the sale of a building. We are also open to building a new home if you have property that you would be willing to donate or discount.
With your continued support and the enduring strength of endowment, the Community Foundation will always be here to make life better in Broward.
Warm Regards,
Jennifer O’Flannery Anderson, Ph.D., Community Foundation of Broward President/CEO
Mona Pittenger, Community Foundation of Broward Board Chair
