After 23 years of bold leadership, Community Foundation of Broward President/CEO Linda B. Carter in December 2019 announced her plans to retire by the end of 2020.
Linda has shaped the Community Foundation into a strong, innovative force for good that ranks within the top 100 community foundations nationwide. The Community Foundation has an expert team of professionals and a dynamic Board of Directors, with a growing endowment that provides permanent resources to tackle Broward’s biggest challenges.
By announcing her retirement a year in advance, Linda has ensured a smooth transition to the Community Foundation's next leader.
The Community Foundation is actively conducting a national search to find the next President/CEO to take the helm of Broward’s local philanthropy leader.
The Community Foundation’s Board of Directors has formed a President/CEO Search Committee to guide the leadership transition. The search committee has enlisted the Kittleman executive search firm to help identify top candidates.
