Announcing Our 2025 Board Officers and New Members

The Community Foundation of Broward is excited to announce an experienced executive team and the addition of four dynamic local leaders to our 2025 Board of Directors.

Community Foundation Board members guide our grantmaking, shape our leadership efforts and help us grow an endowment that ensures the Community Foundation’s impact lasts forever.

Since our founding in 1984, more than 150 Broward business executives, community leaders, policymakers, philanthropists and more have volunteered their time and talents to champion the power of local philanthropy.

Mona Pittenger, Chair: Philanthropist, retired real estate entrepreneur
Jonathan K. Allen, Vice Chair: Director of Broward County’s Water and Wastewater Services Business Operations Division
Burnadette Norris-Weeks, Secretary: Partner in Austin Pamies Norris Weeks Powell, PLLC, founder of the Women of Color Empowerment Institute, Inc.
Bertha Henry, Treasurer: Former Broward County Administrator
Ramona Lacy Fowler, At-Large: Executive advisor to health care organizations
Eric J. Vainder, At-Large: Senior Market Executive for Northern Trust

Marianela Collado: Senior Wealth Advisor and CEO and Co-owner of Tobias Financial Advisors, Chair of the Community Foundation’s Professional Advisors Council
Trevor Fried: Financial Advisor and Senior Portfolio Management Director with Morgan Stanley, Author, Certified Financial Planner
Ken Kappner: Senior Executive in supply chain management industry, including positions at Procter & Gamble, Quaker Oat-PepsiCo, Electronic Arts and Samsung
Pam E. Booker Pettis: Attorney at Austin Pamies Norris Weeks Powell, PLLC with more than 30 years of experience in local government practice
