The Community Foundation of Broward recently hosted another gathering of our former Board Chairs at a luncheon to show our ongoing appreciation for their leadership and to gain their insights about our road ahead.
Keith Cobb, Bill Snyder, Ginny Miller, Wendy Masi, Frank Brogan and Steven W. Hudson were among those who joined in on our latest get-together of former Board Chairs, which started over the summer as vaccinations began to open the door to more in-person gatherings. The first luncheon included Wil Greaton, Richard Berkowitz, Christy Lambertus, Rey Leightman, Carlos Reyes and Jim LaBate.
In addition to sharing fond memories, these luncheons are a great opportunity to keep former Board Chairs in the loop about ongoing Community Foundation efforts and to get their ideas for our new strategic plan.
“The Community Foundation Board Chairs who came before me have done so much to fuel the Foundation’s mission to foster bold philanthropy,” Board Chair James Donnelly said. “Their ongoing involvement with the Foundation and the insights they share continue to shape a brighter future for Broward.”
