The Community Foundation of Broward’s redesigned website, cfbroward.org, recently won a Bronze “Stevie” Award from the 2020 American Business Awards.
More than 3,600 public and private organizations across the country entered a wide range of categories during the 18th annual competition for this premier business awards program.
The Community Foundation’s website was one of just two nonprofit organization websites honored with a Bronze “Stevie” Award.
This latest honor comes after the Community Foundation’s new website in November earned a 2019 Platinum Award from MarCom Awards – an international creative competition that recognizes outstanding achievement by marketing and communication professionals.
“We are so proud that the Community Foundation’s website has become a showcase for the power of local philanthropy and the bold impact our Fundholders create on Broward’s issues that matter,” said Kirk Englehardt, Foundation Vice President of Marketing and Communications.
The Community Foundation’s new and improved website, launched in July 2019, is an online extension of our mission to inform, empower and connect our community – spreading the word about the bold impact of local philanthropy.
Created after extensive research of other websites nationwide as well as consultation with our Fundholders, professional advisors and other vital stakeholders, the new website is an easy-to-use online tool to learn more about the Community Foundation, the bold impact of local philanthropy and the 10 Issues That Matter most to Broward’s future.
Since the website redesign, Community Foundation webpage views have increased 22 percent – which has boosted the online outreach of the BE BOLD Leadership Campaign to raise more endowed support to tackle Broward’s Issues That Matter. Already, nearly $14 million in commitments to the Community Foundation have come from individuals who credited what they learned through the new website for motivating their decisions to contribute.
And during the coronavirus crisis, the Community Foundation’s new website has been a vital information hub – showing how the power of endowment is helping fuel immediate crisis response and how more local philanthropy can provide the necessary, long-term solutions to support Broward’s bold recovery.
The new Community Foundation of Broward website is made possible by support from the Hudson Family Fund.
