On July 1, Judy Bonevac officially became the new Chair of the Community Foundation of Broward’s Professional Advisors Council.
The Professional Advisors Council, or PAC for short, is an elite group of attorneys, accountants and financial advisors who have partnered with the Community Foundation to help their clients fulfill their charitable goals by creating a current and/or testamentary Fund at the Foundation.
Judy Bonevac, of Judy Barringer Bonevac, P.A., is a trusted advisor who has long collaborated with the Community Foundation to help her clients achieve their charitable goals. She is the former PAC Vice Chair.
Judy is a “great person” and a “consummate professional,” said Kurt Zimmerman, Esq., who after three years as PAC Chair has passed the baton to Judy.
“She cares deeply about the Community Foundation and about Broward County in general,” Kurt said. “We are very privileged to have Judy as our next PAC Chair.”
Judy and other PAC members know that the Community Foundation is a go-to resource for professional advisors, ready to help them navigate charitable planning opportunities for their clients. Working together, the Community Foundation and advisors help local residents achieve their charitable goals and make a BOLD impact for our community.
Membership in the PAC enables professional advisors to network and to share their expertise with fellow professional advisors. PAC meetings feature exclusive opportunities for members to hear from wealth and estate planning experts, while earning continuing education credits. In addition, the PAC advises the Community Foundation about the changing needs of professional advisors.
Kurt Zimmerman, of Zimmerman & Associates, P.A., will remain actively involved at the Community Foundation. He continues to serve as a Foundation Board Member and leads our BE BOLD Leadership Campaign committee.
