Since the Community Foundation of Broward was established in 1984, we have grown to over $250 million in assets and rank in the top 100 among community foundations nationwide.

Despite this growth, our available resources have not kept pace with the needs of our growing community. Requests for support from the community have increased dramatically and far exceed current resources. As a result, over 70% of the projects and initiatives presented to the Foundation go unsupported. These are missed opportunities to create greater impact and change many more lives.
