Community Foundation of Broward Scholarships
The Community Foundation annually awards more than $100,000 in scholarships. The following scholarships now have applications available.
Applications will be available February 2011.
Mary Houliston MacDonald Sscholarship for Women
This scholarship was established by Mary Houliston MacDonald. She very much wanted to make it possible for women to be able to have the means to receive or complete their education or training in order to be independent.
Ralph H. and Ruth Frank Gross Memorial Scholarship
Ralph and Ruth Frank Gross understood the value of a good education. This scholarship Fund was established in memory of them and is intended to encourage people to improve themselves as well as to provide for the betterment of their children. Governmental workers and their families were selected as qualified recipients because of the many good deeds that are performed that go unrecognized.
Florida Alumnae Panhellenic Scholarship
Celebrating their 85th year – Florida Alumnae Panhellenic is proud and enthusiastic about their scholarships. They stand for service through the development of character inspired by the close contacts and deep friendships of individual fraternity and Panhellenic life. The opportunity for wide and wise human services, through mutual respect and helpfulness, is a tenet by which we strive to live.
Broward Women's Alliance Scholarship
The purpose of the Broward Women’s Alliance Fund for the Advancement of Women Scholarship is to benefit women applicants age 18 and above who need support and encouragement for professional development through education.
