The Children's Services Council of Broward County (CSC) faces reauthorization on the November 2014 ballot. Reauthorization will allow CSC to continue to support 150 programs that serve one in four children in Broward. CSC helps more than 150,000 children annually succeed in school and grow into healthy, productive adults in our community.

Through local property tax dollars, capped at a .5 milage rate, the CSC collected more than $62 million in their last fiscal year with 96 percent of all funds going directly to programs and services across Broward County. The dollars raised fund more than 150 proven programs delivered through a network of 100 providers including ARC Broward, Boys and Girls Club, YMCA, Family Central, Hispanic Unity, Kids in Distress and the Urban League of Broward County.

Without the reauthorization of the CSC, most if not all of these programs would go unfunded, severely impacting the well-being of Broward children.

Community Foundation of Broward and countless organizations across the county are asking for your support for the reauthorization of the Children's Services Council.
