Online Tool Unveiled for Foundation Fundholders

Food for Thought Experience

Board member and Fundholder, Steven Hudson, discusses Issues that Matter with guests

Funholders and guests battled it out with Issues that Matter at the Foundation’s Food for Thought event earlier this month. Our Food for Thought experiences gave philanthropists the opportunity to meet with one another and have an exclusive behind the scenes look at our work.
These philanthropists mingled over an interactive lunch and participated in a friendly feud with facts learned about Issues that Matter – ten pressing challenges in Broward as determined by the Community Foundation and local leaders. Sheri Brown, VP of Grants and Initiatives, made a case for each Issues that Matter, stressing the importance of collaboration and leadership in the community to create real and lasting change.
KEC_4356.pngGuests were also introduced to a revolutionary reinvention of PhilNet™ (Philanthropy Network for Broward).  This user-friendly online tool is designed to help donors manage their gifts and stay more connected and informed about their Fund at the Foundation. PhilNet™ is an added value we provide to our donor advised Fundholders, to ensure that their charitable giving is more effective and personable.
You can easily navigate through PhilNet™ and test it out today at and click on the “TRY IT NOW” button. To gain access to your account, contact Amanda Kah, Charitable Funds Manager, at or 954.761.9503 ext. 115.
